The 3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Tour is entirely a gorilla trekking adventure package. This primate trekking experience involves exploring the dense Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on a search for endangered mountain gorillas. Over 459 of these rare apes survive within Bwindi, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Southwestern Uganda.
Bwindi is largely a rainforest park lying at an elevation range of 1160 and 2607m. A good number of wildlife and include over 120 species of mammals, 163 species of trees, 27 frogs, 104 fern species, 51 reptile species, 350 species of birds, and 1000 flowering plant species.

Day 1: Pick up from Kampala, transfer by road to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After a hefty breakfast from your hotel facility, you will be transferred up to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. From Kampala/Entebbe to Bwindi, it is approximately 8-9 hours’ drive in a comfortable 4×4 safari vehicle. With an experienced driver guide, you will drive through the beautiful Southwestern side of the country and en-route; expect to make a stopover at the Equator.
At Igongo, you will have lunch break and after, you will continue to Bwindi National Park. On arrival, check in at the lodge to have a leisurely dinner and then retire for the night.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable gorilla trekking experience
Have a hefty breakfast and after, you will have the morning briefing about gorilla trekking guidelines at Bwindi Park offices. You will find the park officials who will also allocate gorilla families to visitors and at 8:00am, you will be exiting the briefing area for actual search for these unique primates.
The day guided gorilla trek will go for 2-6 hours which is inclusive of an hour for up close and personal with a family of gorillas. After the close encounter, you will be accompanied back to the briefing area and later connect to your lodge for relaxation.
Day 3: Departure
Enjoy a hefty breakfast and after, check out of the lodge, have your property packed in the car and start your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
